The Drama Queen

Their life is a perpetual crisis and you're the captive audience. Every conversation is an emergency. They thrive on chaos because chaos means attention. The problem isn't that bad things happen to them -- it's that they need YOU to feel every single one.

How to spot them: Every call is urgent. They can't tell a story without making it the most dramatic thing that's ever happened. Your calm becomes their canvas for chaos.

How to blast them: Limit your availability. Stop being the first person they call. You're not their therapist, their 911, or their emotional dumping ground.

The Blamer

Nothing is ever their fault. They have an excuse for everything and somehow you end up apologizing for things you didn't do. The Blamer needs a scapegoat to avoid looking at themselves.

How to spot them: You feel guilty after conversations even when you did nothing wrong. They rewrite history so they're always the victim and you're always the problem.

How to blast them: Refuse to accept responsibility for their feelings. Say it out loud: "That's not mine to carry." And mean it.

The Life Blocker

Not a person -- a pattern. The Life Blocker is the bad habit that drains your time, your health, and your self-worth. The 2am doom scroll. The comfort eating. The procrastination. You've normalized it, but it's vampiric.

How to spot them: You feel worse after the behavior, not better. There's a gap between who you are and who you want to be, and this habit lives in that gap.

How to blast them: Replace the habit, don't just resist it. Willpower runs out. Build something better in its place.

The Inner Vampire

The one you didn't see coming. Because it's you. Your own negative self-talk running on repeat. "I'm not good enough." "It's my fault." "I'll never change." This is the hardest vampire to face because it lives inside your own head.

How to blast them: Name it, challenge it, replace it. When the voice says "you can't," write down three times you did. Starve it with evidence.
